Battery Park City is a premier 92-acre community in lower Manhattan bounded by the West Side Highway on the east, bordering the neighborhood from the financial district of downtown Manhattan. The Hudson River surrounds the northern, southern and western portions.

BPC is a mixed-use residential and commercial community constructed during the 1980s. The Wagner Park on the southern tip of BPC offers a charming respite from the overwhelming “city-ness” of New York City life where one can stroll through gardens of brightly colored flowers. Public restrooms are accessible and there are plenty of stalls open during the day.
